I knew I wanted to have a Web site that would help
promote my books, but had no idea about how to set one up, and
wasn’t willing to take time away from my writing to learn.
Janet did a great job of taking my vague ideas and
turning them into an informative and colourful site. She was aware
of how to promote my site, too, so it would get lots of visitors,
and continues to keep her eyes open for opportunities to further
enhance its visibility.
Since setting up the site five years ago, Janet
has done a great job of maintaining it and keeping it up-to-date.
She often has creative suggestions for features to add to improve
it, and responds enthusiastically any time I have suggestions
of my own. If I say I’d like something done and she doesn’t
know how to do it, she views it as a welcome opportunity to learn.
Her work behind the scenes is as thorough as what
she does on the actual site. As well as checking to be sure that
all links to outside sites are active (and removing any that are
not), for example, she also keeps a thorough record of what she
has done, so that when I pay my bill, I know exactly what I’m
paying for.
It’s great to be able to do what I want to
do with my time, knowing that Janet is capably taking care of
this important aspect of my business.
