Services for Organizing Professionals
As a professional organizer, you teach your clients the value of time, but do you take your own advice?
No matter how well you manage your time, there are only 24 hours in the day, and 7 days in the week. You cannot create more time, but you can make the most of the time you have by eliminating activities that bring you neither income nor pleasure, and by delegating important tasks for which you lack interest or skills to someone else.
Originally established as a professional organizing service, Organized Assistant evolved into a virtual assistant business when an organizing colleague asked Founder Janet Barclay to handle the distribution of her electronic newsletter, due to her passion for working on the computer and her technical expertise.
Since that time, Janet has served professional organizers from across North America on a wide variety of projects, including:
- website design and maintenance
- ezine creation and distribution
- editing and ghost writing articles
- PowerPoint presentations
- design of customized invoices and other forms
A former Silver Leaf Member of Professional Organizers in Canada who spent three years on the National Board of Directors, Janet really understands the challenges you face in your business. She's been recognized as an expert in the organizing industry as a featured guest on Smith 'n Hayes, CH News at 6, Breakfast Television, and Roaring Women Radio, as well as in several publications, including:
- The Globe and Mail
- The Star Tribune
- Canadian House & Home
- OfficePro
- Canada’s SOHO Business
- Panorama
- The Hamilton Spectator
- Hamilton Mountain News
